Scattered Showers, Chilly Temperatures Expected Across SoCal
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Widely scattered showers are forecast across the Southland Sunday as daylight saving time came to an end.
Light rain -- from a tenth of an inch to a quarter of an inch -- is expected in Los Angeles and Orange County, but will taper off by the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
In the local mountains, more snow is expected at elevations of about 5,000 to 5,500 feet, according to the NWS.
Rainfall totals around Los Angeles were expected to be similar to Friday's with most of the rain falling in the morning. Scattered afternoon showers are possible, but the cold front is expected to move by midday, according to the NWS.
Daytime highs around Los Angeles will be in the upper 50s and low 60s.
