Santa Ana Police Seek Help In Identifying Chase Bank Robbery Suspect
SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday sought the public's help in identifying a man accused of robbing a Chase Bank branch in Santa Ana.
The robbery at the bank in the 3600 block of S. Bristol occurred about 3:35 p.m. Thursday, according to a statement issued by the Santa Ana Police Department.
Police say the suspect, described as a white male in his 50s, walked into the bank and passed a demand note to the teller.
After the teller complied with the suspect's demands, police said he fled on foot. He was last seen walking through the west parking lot.
The suspect was 5-foot-6-inches tall. He had gold or brown curly hair and was last seen wearing a dark striped long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and black/white tennis shoes, according to the statement.
