SAN PEDRO (CBS) — A woman stabbed to death was identified Thursday by the coroner's office as 60-year-old Eva Alta Tice of San Pedro.
Tice, a mentally disabled woman, was walking home from church on Christmas Eve when she was attacked, KNX 1070's Jon Baird reports.

She was found at 7:15 p.m. on a sidewalk in the 1100 block of South Pacific Avenue, near 11th Street, with multiple stab wounds to her upper body, said Officer Gregory Baek of the Los Angeles Police Department.
"Several witnesses also saw an unidentified male with possible dark baggy clothing running from the area," Baek said.
Tice was taken to a hospital where she later died, Baek said.
Police do not have a motive and said Tice wasn't robbed.
"She never had cash on her," Detective David Alvarez said. "She has a watch, she had it with her, the Bible that she carried with her, she had it."
Police urged anyone with information regarding the stabbing to contact Harbor Area homicide detectives David Alvarez or Patty Batts at (310) 726-7889 or (310) 726-7879.
