Runaway Truck Wreaks Havoc In La Crescenta
LA CRESCENTA (CBSLA.com) — A runaway truck wreaked havoc Friday in the residential area of northern Glendale-La Crescenta.
Stu Mundel, reporting for CBS2 and KCAL9, says the truck broke loose and traveled down a steep hill on Lauderdale Avenue before coming to rest in front of a home.
According to Mundel, crews have been called to the scene to de-energize power lines after the truck knocked over some power poles.
Lauderdale Avenue between Foothill Boulevard and Los Amigos Street has been closed.
