Robert Horry's Daughter Dies At 17

(CBS) -- Ashlyn Horry, the daughter of former Los Angeles Laker Robert Horry has died at 17, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Ashlyn was born with a rare genetic abnormality, called 1p34 deletion syndrome. (Missing part of chromosome number one)

Horry told the Times' Broderick  Turner, " I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. It means so much to our family. "
