Robbers Use Light To Disorient Victims In Paramount Home Invasion
PARAMOUNT (CBS) — Two men forced their way into a house in Paramount early Thursday and stole jewelry and a television before fleeing, authorities said. No one was hurt.
The robbers used a bright light to disorient the victims, who had been sleeping in the home in the 7300 block of Marcelle Street, said Lt. Minh Dinh of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Lakewood Station.
The two men forced entry through the front door at 2:15 a.m., wearing hoodies and masks, Dinh said, adding they stole a box of jewelry and a flat screen television,
The robbers were last seen fleeing northbound on Garfield Avenue in a dark sedan, he said.
