Rivers Throws 3 INTs As Chargers Fall To Champion Packers 45-38
(CBS) -- The San Diego Chargers fell to 4-4 on the season after losing a tough one to the undefeated defending champions, the Green Bay Packers, 45-38.
Charlie Peprah intercepted Rivers on the games final drive to secure their 14th win in a row, dating back to December, 2010.
Peprah and Tramon Williams also picked off Rivers in the first quarter, taking them back for touchdowns as the Bolts quickly fell down 21-7.
San Diego would never go away, despite his three picks, Rivers connected on four TD passes, including one to Antonio Gates for 11 yards and the Chargers trailed by just seven points heading into the fourth quarter.
It appeared the Packers had iced the game once again, Aaron Rodgers hit James Jones and Greg Jennings for TDs to go up a commanding 21-points.
But Rivers wasn't about to go quietly, Vincent Jackson hauled in two TD catches in the fourth quarter, three for the game and the Chargers pulled within seven points once again, but they would get no closer after Peprah iced the game with the fourth quarter interception.
San Diego has lost three straight games.
