Rescue Group Looks To Find Adoptive Home For Pair Of Dogs Who Need Each Other
SHERMAN OAKS (CBSLA.com) — The STAND Foundation rescues neglected pets, provides food and aid to pets belonging to homeless people and helps abused guard dogs, among other things.
But two of their latest rescues are tugging at everyone's heartstrings.
They have a stray husky named Isaac and a Chihuahua and terrier mix named Isabella who are besties who do everything together. They were found together roaming the streets of San Bernardino.
Turns out, Isaac is blind -- and Isabella is his guide dog.
That is why the STAND Foundation wants to adopt them -- together. "They're the dynamic duo. They're a bonded pair. They're inseparable," says Fred Kaplan. "They want to stay close together all the time."
