Reports: Former Lakers Star Lamar Odom Has Vanished, Family Worried
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Internet is rife with reports that former Lakers star Lamar Odom has vanished.
TMZ reports that Odom was last seen 72 hours ago, as of Sunday evening, and that his family is worried.
While the Los Angeles Police Department told CBS2/KCAL9 that there is no report of a missing person regarding Odom, there are also reports that his wife, Khloe Kardashian, threw him out of the house on Wednesday. TMZ ran pictures of Odom and a friend, packing up his car with suitcases, on its website.
Odom is a 14-year NBA veteran, most recently playing the 2012-13 season with the Los Angeles Clippers, where he shot .399 from the field and racked up 330 points.
He played power forward for the Los Angeles Lakers between 2004 and 2011, winning championships in 2009 and 2010. Odom was the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year in 2011.
