Report: Martin Leaves Dodgers, Inks Deal With Yankees
(CBS) -- Multiple sources are telling MLB.com, free-agent catcher Russell Martin has signed a contract with the New York Yankees.
The 2-time All-Star played in just 97 games because of a hip injury last season.
Earlier in the offseason, the Dodgers decided to non-tender Martin, which allowed him to become a free-agent.
The Dodgers will go with Rod Barajas, Dioner Navarro and AJ Ellis behind the plate.
