Report: LA Galaxy In Negotiations With Liverpool, English Captain Steven Gerrard
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) The Los Angeles Galaxy are in search for a replacement to their former MVP Landon Donovan after winning their 5th MLS Cup in franchise history.
According to the Mirror, a British Website, the LA Galaxy are in negotiations with England and Liverpool's captain Steven Gerrard.
On the Jan. 1, the 34-year-old central midfielder announced that he will leave Liverpool after the 2014-'15 English Premier League season.
"He is expected to follow in the footsteps of David Beckham and move to LA Galaxy after making 'the toughest decision of my life' and deciding to quit Liverpool" the paper wrote.
The offer is to believed to be around £100,000-a-week, around the same as David Beckham made with the Galaxy, on a four-year-deal.
