Report: Donald Sterling Threatens To Sue NBA, Refuse All Sanctions
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) -Maxwell Blecher, an antitrust litigator hired by Donald Sterling, has written a letter to the Vice President and general counsel Rich Buchanan threatening to sue the NBA and refusing the sanctions handed down by Commissioner Adam Silver, according to SI.com.
The letter reportedly says Sterling, who claims has done nothing wrong, will not pay the fine of $2.5 million handed down by commissioner Silver.
Sterling also claims his racist comments that were recorded with V. Stiviano should not be warranted.
Blecher is a prominent Los Angeles antitrust attorney who represented Sterling in 1984 when the Clippers moved to Los Angeles from San Diego. He also successfully sued the NFL, representing the Los Angeles Coliseum when the Raiders moved to Oakland.

On April 29, Silver banned Sterling for life and fined him $2.5 million.
The report is no surprise as CBS2's Sports Director Jim Hill reported Sterling's initial reaction was to never sell the team.
Silver still plans to do all in his power to make certain that the Clippers would ultimately be sold.
