Repair Work To Close 1 EB Lane Of PCH In Malibu
MALIBU (CBSLA.com) — Repairs will begin Monday along the Pacific Coast Highway after recent high surf eroded a stretch of rocky bluffs and damaged the Malibu pier.
One eastbound lane of the PCH will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. between Big Rock Drive and Topanga Creek, according to Caltrans.
Temporary K-rail concrete barriers along the highway will be re-positioned to prevent them from falling into the ocean after a recent hurricane caused erosion at La Tuna Beach County Park. The damage was made to the only large parking and public access point along the ocean in eastern Malibu.
