Red Flag Warning Extended Through Monday Morning
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Dry and windy conditions have prompted officials to extend a red flag warning for parts of the Southland through Monday morning.
The warning for Los Angeles and Ventura counties will remain in effect through 10 a.m. with possible gusts of up to 50 miles per hour in some parts.
Meanwhile, parts of LA and Ventura counties as well as surrounding areas were also under a high wind warning through 6 p.m. Sunday.
Those areas included: Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego.
The National Weather Service says sustained winds in those areas are expected to be between 20 to 40 miles per hour with gusts in upwards of 60 miles per hour.
