Rapist On The Loose In Van Nuys
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The public's help is needed to catch a rapist who attacked a 22-year-old woman walking on Kester Avenue in Van Nuys.
Police say the woman was walking in the 6800 block of Kester about 5:40 p.m. Sunday when a man in a black four-door car pulled up and asked for directions.
The woman ignored the man, who got out and forced her to the ground, where he choked and raped her, police said.
The suspect was described as being in his 20s, about 5 feet 7 inches and 165 pounds, with short black hair and dark eyes. He wore a black T-shirt and blue jeans.
