Rain Triggers Floods In Montebello
MONTEBELLO (CBSLA.com/AP) — Rain brought on flooding Sunday in Montebello and officials were forced to redirect traffic.
Shortly after 6 p.m., Greenwood Avenue was closed in both directions between Sycamore Avenue and Union Street under the railroad overpass, Montebello police reported.
The National Weather Service says the brunt of the storm isn't expected to reach the Southland until Tuesday, when 2 to 3 inches of rain could fall on much of the region.
