Pursuit Suspect Arrested In Front Of Police Station After Leading Officers On Chase
PACOIMA (CBSLA.com) — Police arrested a driver who led officers on a high-speed pursuit near Pacoima Tuesday.
The LAPD's Foothill Division launched the pursuit of the driver for reckless driving.
CBS2's Stu Mundel in Sky2 reported at one point the driver was reportedly taunting officers in front of the police station.
During the course of the pursuit the suspect reportedly attempted to hit a police officer, leading officers to pursue the suspect for assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer.
Officers reportedly subdued the suspect with non-lethal means after he exited the vehicle but appeared not to follow instructions.
He was brought into custody in front of the LAPD Mission Division.
