Pulitzer Prize Winners Discuss Bell Salary Scandal
STUDIO CITY (KCAL) — Two recent recipients of the Pulitzer prize visited the KCAL9 studios Friday.
Ruben Vives and Jeff Gottlieb of The Los Angeles Times won the journalism award for public service for their work that revealed the Bell salary scandal. The two led a team of nearly two dozen journalists as they uncovered the corruption in the small city that ultimately led to the arrest of several Bell City Council members.
