Public's Help Sought In Solving 26-Year-old Man's Murder

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Monday for information leading the suspects responsible for the murder of a 26-year-old man.

Roshon Davis was stabbed around 2:50 p.m. on Jan. 29 in South Los Angeles, police said.

After hearing cries for help, an on-duty LAPD sergeant responded to an alley behind an apartment complex in the 3000 block of Gibraltar Avenue and found the Davis.

"The victim was able to tell the sergeant that he had been attacked at the nearby gas station at the intersection of Coliseum Street and La Brea Avenue," officials said.

Davis was transported to a local hospital where he died.

Authorities were unable to identify any witnesses or suspects.

Anyone with information should contact the LAPD.
