Protesters Picket The Hyatt Andaz In West Hollywood
WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBS/CNS) — About 100 protesters today picketed the Hyatt Andaz hotel in West Hollywood.
There were no arrests and no problems were reported, according to a deputy at the sheriff's West Hollywood Station.
Workers such as housekeepers, bell staff, and bar workers from Unite Here Local 11 have been working without a contract for nearly a year.
One protester said that he was concerned that people were being laid off, and job duties were being combined.
