Protest Against Police Brutality Stops Traffic Along Crenshaw Boulevard
CRENSHAW DISTRICT (CBSLA.com) — A large crowd of people has stopped traffic on Crenshaw Boulevard and Stocker Tuesday as part of a national protest against police brutality.
The Stop Mass Incarceration group took over the intersection of Crenshaw and Stocker about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday after starting their march at Crenshaw and Slauson.
The eastbound lanes of Stocker were shut down by Los Angeles Police officers escorting the group along their route, CBS2/KCAL9's Gil Leyvas reports.
The group is headed for Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
