Pres. Obama To Return To Southland For $32K-A-Person Roundtable Discussion
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — President Barack Obama will be back in Southern California next month for a pricey roundtable discussion with a group of Democratic supporters.
On Sept. 9, the commander-in-chief will take part in an "off the cuff" discussion with donors, who will pay $32,400 to take part in the event, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The gathering will be the president's 16th trip to the area since taking office.
Obama was in Los Angeles Aug. 6 for an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and a dinner with DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg.
