Prayer Vigil Held For Cal State San Bernardino Grad Missing In New Orleans
SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Campus leaders at Cal State San Bernardino Saturday held a prayer vigil for a 26-year-old woman missing in New Orleans.
Terrilynn Monette, a second grade teacher who graduated from Cal State San Bernardino, has been missing for three weeks.
The campus -- students, teachers and church leaders -- gathered to support Monette's family.
Monette was last seen driving away -- alone -- from Parlay's Lounge, a bar, about 5:15 a.m. in her 2012 black Honda Accord. Despite her late departure, bar patrons said she did not consume an excessive amount of alcohol. She had been celebrating her nomination as "Teacher of the Year."
A company that specializes in the search of missing people and vehicles has ruled out the possibility of Monette's car being in any nearby ponds or bayous.
Police said they have no suspects and no leads.
