Crews Restore Power To Thousands In Orange
ORANGE (CBS) — Power was restored to over 2,600 homes and businesses that were left in the dark Saturday in Orange.
Southern California Edison Spokesman Charlie Coleman said faulty underground equipment caused a "circuit lockout" at 10:04 a.m. and that power was restored to all but eight customers by 10:57 a.m.
Coleman said the outage affected an area west of the Costa Mesa (55) Freeway in an area bounded by Chestnut Avenue on the north, Clinton Street on the east, Walnut Avenue on the south and California Street on the west.
No injuries were reported.
