Power Out To 10K Customers After Weekend Winter Storm
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The winter storm that blew through Southern California over the weekend left more than 10,000 Southern California customers without power Monday morning.
Southern California Edison told the Los Angeles Times that 10,656 customers were without power, from Orange County to Santa Monica, after one of the biggest storms of the winter season.
Crews have been working around the clock to fix the lines.
That same storm dumped more than a foot of fresh powder in the local mountains, forcing two school districts in the San Bernardino Mountains to declare Monday a snow day.
