Possible Murder-Suicide Reported In Beverly Hills
BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say two bodies have been found in an apartment in the 300 block of South Elm Drive in Beverly Hills.
The bodies of a man and a woman were discovered around 4:25 p.m. after a report of shots being fired.
Stu Mundel, reporting in Sky 2, said officials in a preliminary investigation believe they are dealing with a murder-suicide.
Beverly Hills Police Department detectives are investigating. Officials said the 300 Block of South Elm Drive will remain closed for several hours.
Juan Fernandez, reporting for KCAL 9 News at 10 p.m. Wednesday, said investigators had just received a search warrant allowing them to enter the duplex to begin their investigation.
Neighbors remained tight-lipped but told Fernandez, off camera, that the neighborhood was very quiet.
A neighbor told him that they believed a couple's children discovered the bodies after coming home from school.
