Lakers Go 0-11 From 3-Point Range, Lose To Portland
PORTLAND (CBS) -- Gerald Wallace scored 31 points, and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Los Angeles Lakers for the 11th time in 13 games at the Rose Garden, 107-96 on Thursday night.
It was the first time in six games the Lakers have allowed 100 points or more in a game, with 55 points coming in the second half.
The Blazers outscored the Lakers 32-18 in the third quarter.
"Portland pushed the pace in the second half, and we kind of came apart. " Lakers coach Mike Brown said.
Once again, the Lakers struggled shooting the 3-pointer, going 0-11. It was the first time since 2003 the Lakers failed to hit from downtown.
"They just bust our ***." Andrew Bynum said.
The Lakers return to Staples Center Friday night to host the Golden State Warriors at 7:30.
