The freeway closure will affect the ramps from Getty Center Dr. to the 101 Freeway.
Metro officials say ramps within the vicinity will likely close as early as 7 p.m. with freeway lanes closing as early as 11 p.m. Saturday.
A full northbound directional freeway closure will begin at 1 a.m. and end by 6 a.m.
The closure is part of the ongoing Sepulveda Pass Improvement Project and will allow crews to install falsework structures for the Mulholland Bridge.
Traffic will be redirected to Sepulveda Boulevard, officials said.
