Popular Hiking Spot Runyon Canyon Closes For July 4th
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — Los Angeles' popular hiking spot Runyon Canyon will be closed for the Fourth of July, officials announced Friday.
The trails, which closed at 5 p.m. Friday, will not be open Saturday and will again close at 5 p.m. on Sunday, "as a matter of precaution and to keep everyone safe," Councilman David Ryu said in a statement.
The trails will reopen with regular hours on Monday.
