Police: Toddler Kidnapped From Palm Springs At Knifepoint By Mother
PALM SPRINGS (CBS) — An Amber Alert was issued for a 2-year-old boy who police say was abducted by his mother at knifepoint in Palm Springs Thursday.
Johnny Jacob Gonzalez was taken at about 11:30 a.m. from 2611 Linden Way, authorities said.
Police say the boy was taken by his mother, Brandi Marie Gonzalez, 22, who was last seen driving a white, four-door 2000 Mitsubishi Galant with a California license plate 6GUE552.
Gonzalez has joint custody of Johnny, police said.
The boy, who has tightly shaved brown hair and brown eyes, was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, blue shorts and white athletic shoes.
