Police: Single Vandal Likely Behind Westside Swastika Graffiti
SANTA MONICA (CBS) — A series of swastikas that were found spray-painted on Westside on businesses and residential buildings were likely done by a single individual, police said Wednesday.
KNX 1070's Pete Demetriou reports the swastikas — done with red paint — have been reported along Wilshire Boulevard, Georgina and 23rd streets in Santa Monica and the Brentwood area.

Investigators were pursuing several leads in their search for whomever is responsible for the spray paintings in Santa Monica and Brentwood.
Details about the case have not yet been released "because it might jeopardize the case," said Santa Monica police Sgt. Richard Lewis.
Lewis did say that police "may release something today. That's up to the detectives."
At least 12 swastikas were painted in Santa Monica between Saturday and Sunday night, while two reports of swastikas came in Monday, Lewis said.
The sergeant said the same individual who spray-painted the swastikas in Santa Monica likely was responsible for similar graffiti in Brentwood.
