Police Shoot, Kill Armed SoCal Robbery Suspect
INGLEWOOD (AP) — Police have shot and killed an armed robbery suspect after a high-speed chase along two southern Los Angeles County freeways.
Inglewood police Lt. B. Mylar says the man, who has not been identified, robbed a flower shop, a Radio Shack and other stores Monday morning before officers spotted his sport utility vehicle and began the chase.
The man abandoned his vehicle in an underground parking structure and fled on foot. He then made two attempts to carjack another vehicle and was shot during the second attempt.
Mylar says no officers were injured in the shooting.
