Police searching for two suspects who allegedly shot at car in Westminster
Police are searching for two suspects who were allegedly involved in a shooting targeting a car that had a man, woman and 8-month-old baby inside in Westminster. \
It happened on Wednesday at around 9:30 p.m. near Goldenwest Street and Trask Avenue, according to the Westminster Police Department.
Officers arrived and found the unidentified male victim suffering from two gunshot wounds that were not considered to be life-threatening.
"Thankfully, both the female passenger and infant were not hit by gunfire," the WPD statement said.
Investigators believe that the victim was "targeted" in the shooting, but did not provide further information on what led them to that conclusion.
They have not yet identified either suspect nor have they provided a motive.
The suspects fled the area in a black car, police said.
