Police Searching For Suspect Who Robbed Donut Shop, Stabbed Female Employee
TORRANCE (CBSLA.com) — Police are searching for a man who entered a donut shop and stabbed a female employee before fleeing with $100.
Torrance police said the attacker entered Yum Yum Donuts in the 17200 block of Prarie Avenue north of Artesia Blvd at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday when he produced a knife and jumped over the counter.
The suspect stabbed the female employee managing the counter and stole around $100 in cash before fleeing on foot.
The victim is hospitalized in critical condition, according to police.
Torrance police have not released an image of the attacker but confirmed an image of the suspect was caught on surveillance video.
