Police Searching For Missing San Diego Woman Last Seen In West LA

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Los Angeles police Friday circulated a photo of a San Diego woman who was last seen at a meditation center in Pacific Palisades earlier this week.

Vanessa Loftus-Brewers, 28, walked away from the Self Realization Center, in the 17100 block of West Sunset Boulevard, about 5 p.m. Tuesday, the LAPD reported.

"She left her vehicle, purse, car keys and all possessions for unknown reasons, and walked away from the location," according to an LAPD statement. "Her family and friends say that it is uncharacteristic behavior for her not to have contact with them, and are concerned for her well-being."

Loftus-Brewers is white, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 135 pounds, with brown eyes and reddish-brown hair. She was wearing a turquoise long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone seeing her was urged to call the LAPD's Missing Persons office, (213) 996-1800; the LAPD's West Los Angeles Station, (310) 444-0702; or (877) LAPD-24-7.
