Police Search For Suspect In Attempted Robbery At Anaheim Bank
ANAHEIM (CBS) — The public's help is needed to track down a man who tried to rob a Bank of America branch in Anaheim.
The attempted robbery happened Thursday at about 2 p.m. at Bank of America, 2260 South Harbor Boulevard.
Police say the suspect demanded money from a teller and threatened to shoot employees, then abruptly left on foot after being in the bank for a few minutes. No weapons were seen and no injuries were reported.
At the time of the robbery, there were no customers in the bank.
The suspect is described as a white man in his late 50s, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-8, 170 to 180 pounds, with a bald head and clean shaven. He wore a black zip-up sweatshirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
