Police Release Sketch Of 'Los Feliz Serial Burglar'
LOS FELIZ (CBSLA.com) — Police Monday released two composite sketches of a suspected sexual predator and burglar who has been terrorizing Los Feliz residents for months.
Since March, the "Los Feliz Serial Burglar" has victimized 13 women, and three were sexually assaulted.
The LAPD's Robbery-Homicide Special Assault Section reports the man targets single, working women who live alone.
The unarmed suspect reportedly breaks into apartments and homes through open windows or unlocked doors.
Lead detectives said in some cases, the suspect stole intimate apparel, jewelry, cash, and computers.
In other cases, he made sexual contact with the victims while they were sleeping.
Police said the man has terrorized women near the Costco on Los Feliz Boulevard, Seneca Avenue, Riverside Drive and Griffith Park Boulevard.
The suspect is described as 25 to 30 years old, with a slim build, and a mustache.
