Stolen Vehicle Suspect In Custody After South LA Pursuit
WILLOWBROOK (CBSLA.com) — Police Monday pursued a stolen vehicle suspect in the South Los Angeles area.
The chase of the black Chevy Monte Carlo started before 9 p.m. near Main and 80th in South Los Angeles before moving to surface streets in Willowbrook and Compton.
Authorities used spike strips on the vehicle, but it didn't appear to deter the motorist.
The suspect finally came to a rolling stop in Willowbrook, where he and a passenger were taken into custody.
