Police Investigate Double Stabbing In San Bernardino
SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Police Wednesday investigated the circumstances surrounding a stabbing that injured at least two people in San Bernardino.
Around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, officers were sent to a home located in the 1500 block of North Mount View for report of a stabbing, according to the San Bernardino Police Department.
Police discovered a blood trail that led to the home upon their arrival. Officers forced entry into the home, and discovered more blood inside.
A preliminary investigation revealed three people were fighting near the home when a stabbing occurred.
Paramedics transported two victims to a hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the stabbing.
One victim has been listed in very critical condition. Officials said the patient underwent surgery, and is expected to survive. The second victim sustained minor injuries.
Police said a third victim has not yet been located.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
