Police Investigate Deadly Shooting In Panorama City
PANORAMA CITY (CBSLA.com) — Police on Monday investigated the shooting death of a man in Panorama City.
Shortly after 11 p.m. on Sunday, officers were sent to the 8200 block of Noble Avenue for report of a shooting, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Upon their arrival, authorities located a man lying in front of Vista Middle School, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his upper torso.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.
At this time, it remains unclear if the incident will impact the school opening this morning.
The motive remains under investigation.
