Suspect In Freeway Pursuit Taken Into Custody
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities arrested a reckless driving suspect following a pursuit Wednesday.
Authorities first began following the unidentified suspect along the eastbound 60 Freeway near Fullerton around 8:10 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The driver of a white four-door Dodge Charger led authorities down the 57 Freeway and onto the 10 Freeway near Pomona, officials said.
He exited his vehicle along the shoulder of the 57 Freeway near Cal Poly Pomona and attempted to run up the side of a hill, but was unsuccessful.
The suspect then fled across the freeway onto the Cal Poly campus, where he was taken into custody minutes later.
