Police Hope Surveillance Video Will Lead To Arrest Of Santa Ana Stabbing Suspect
SANTA ANA (CBS) — Police are hoping surveillance video of a deadly fight in a Santa Ana restaurant will lead to the arrest of the last of five accused killers.
A fight broke out in the Taqueria Tapatia in the 200 block of South Bristol Street about 3:10 a.m. Saturday, and police arrived to find a 26-year-old man who was stabbed in the chest. Juan Diaz Pacheco later died at a local hospital.
Authorities have arrested Victor Praxedis, 21, Kevin Garcia, 19, Anthony Morales Hernandez, 20 and an unidentified 17-year-old boy. Police are hoping the video tape of the fight will help them locate a sixth suspect, Christopher Espino, 22, of San Bernardino.
All suspects are believed to be gang members, officials said.
