Police Asking For Public's Help To Find Missing Northridge Woman, 22

LOS ANGELES (CBS) —  Authorities are asking for the public's help to locate a missing 22-year-old Northridge woman who hasn't been seen since last November.

The family of Guadalupe Cristina Bautista Hernandez say it is out of character for her not to contact them.

Hernandez was last seen on November 15, 2011 as she left from her residence in the 19000 block of Parthenia Street, in Northridge. Her family is extremely concerned for her welfare.

The missing woman is Hispanic with thin build, black hair and brown eyes. She is 4 feet10 inches tall, and weighs about 90 pounds.

Anyone with who has seen, or has any information regarding Hernandez' whereabouts is asked to call the LAPD Missing Persons Unit at (213) 996-1800.

During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).

Tipsters may also contact Crimestoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone. All text messages should begin with the letters "LAPD." Tipsters may also go to LAPDOnline.org, click on "webtips" and follow the prompts.
