Two Men Charged With Attempted Murder In Tustin Stabbing
TUSTIN (CBS) — Police said two men were arrested in connection with a stabbing at a Tustin restaurant, leaving three people in serious condition, Friday night.
According to the Tustin Police Department, the stabbing occurred around 11:40 p.m. at Baden Baden restaurant at 645 El Camino Real.
Arriving officers saw a Toyota Corolla speeding from the area, and when police stopped and searched the car, whose driver matched the suspect's description, they found a knife, police said.
Officials said witnesses identified the driver, Timothy Park, 19, as the alleged stabber. He was arrested and booked on suspicion of attempted murder.
Police later tracked a second suspect, 21-year-old Benjamin Kang, to a home in Garden Grove. Kang was arrested and booked on suspicion of attempted murder.
The three victims drove themselves to a nearby hospital and were treated for multiple stab wounds, police said. They are all in serious condition.
The motive for the attack is under investigation.
