'Plain Jane' Bandit Strikes Again
DOWNEY (CBS)— The "Plain Jane" bandit, who has allegedly robbed seven banks from Los Angeles to Riverside County, robbed a Downey bank on Monday, according to the FBI.
It happened around 2:15 p.m. at the Bank of American on 10010 Paramount Boulevard, according to the FBI's Laura Eimiller.
According to witnesses, the suspect slips a teller a note or verbally instructs the employee to give her money, claiming she has an accomplice waiting for her.
"Plain Jane" is described as Hispanic, 35 to 45 years old, between 5'3" and 5'5" and weighing 160 to 180 pounds.
