Pedestrian Struck By Train In Santa Clarita, Travelers Warned To Expect Delays
SANTA CLARITA (CBSLA.com) — A Metrolink train has struck and killed a pedestrian near the Santa Clarita Station, authorities reported.
The person was struck at 3:01 p.m. Wednesday at Ruether Avenue and Golden Triangle Road, according to county fire Inspector Quvondo Johnson.
Train 209 was stopped on the tracks while emergency crews responded to the scene.
Travelers were told to anticipate delays.
