Pedestrian Killed By Metrolink Train Near Burbank
BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — A pedestrian has been struck and killed by a Metrolink train near Vineland Avenue.
Metrolink reports the train is stopped west of the Burbank Airport station, according to Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Gil Leyvas, reporting in Sky9, said there were about 70 people on the train. There were no injuries reported involving train passengers.
The unidentified pedestrian was struck just after 3 p.m.
The investigation into the accident if on-going.
