Cowboys Trade Crayton To Chargers

The Dallas Cowboys have traded receiver Patrick Crayton to San Diego and offensive lineman Pat McQuistan to Miami for future considerations.
The Cowboys gave Crayton permission to seek a trade after they took Dez Bryant in the first round of April's NFL draft. He missed most of the voluntary offseason workouts and indicated he wanted to be released from a contract that runs through next season.

Dallas has depth at receiver with starters Miles Austin and Roy Williams. Bryant is expected to fill the No. 3 spot even though he missed most of training camp with a sprained ankle.

The Cowboys are making changes in their offensive line, but McQuistan was never a contender to be a starter.
