Passersby Reportedly Spot Man's Body In Rio Hondo Wash
EL MONTE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Sunday were continuing their investigation into death of a man whose body was found in El Monte's Rio Hondo Wash.
A statement by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says that pedestrians spotted the body around 3:35 p.m. Saturday in the 3500 block of Santa Anita Avenue.
The statement said that the victim "suffered blunt force trauma and possible stab wounds." He was believed to be Hispanic and between 25 to 35 years of age.
