Parking Tips For Today's Rams Preseason Game
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Rams take on the Kansas City Chiefs tonight. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. It's the Rams second pre-season game at the LA Memorial Coliseum.
Nearly 90,000 fans welcomed the Los Angeles Rams last Saturday, but what wasn't so welcoming was the parking situation.
"You'll see prices from $35 to $50 to at most $100. We charged $60 and did real good," said Jamaal Wainwright.;
Wainwright lives across the street from the Coliseum, and says most of the surrounding homes rented parking spaces in their driveways.
The official parking lots at the stadium filled up right after they opened, a full five hours before game time.
If you're a fan headed to the game on Saturday, your best bet is public transportation.
There are three Metro stops within walking distance of the Coliseum -- Expo/Vermont, Expo Park/USC, and 37th St/USC.
Trains will run every six minutes on game days.
You can also take a taxi or ride share, but you'll have a hard time getting out of the stadium due to all the road closures.
If you are a Rams season ticket holder, you can also park in one of USC's our parking lots, even if you don't have a permit.
